I have a lot to update about the past week and a bit.

Be prepared later for an epic post.

But now I’m up early enough to probably see the sunrise :/, jokes. It’s just early and in about 20 mins i need to go and get some giant paper for the american kids kamp thing, plus go to the basement and scope out some polls.

I think I may need some coffee, and I think that Hannah is still wide awake from her coffee that she had at 1pm yesterday. NUTS.

P.s. 

The Croatians love the world cup. Practically every cafe has a plasma TV in front of their shop so people can watch.

I’m officially shattered, but here man, it’s a beaut. Wish we could go climbing but we would probably get blown up by a land mine :(

Mossie bites = 22

MAN! ITCHY!

i brought and forked out some money to cool them down. I think it’s working.

first day of the mosquito’s officially coming out in the morning and at night in Slavonski Brod. 

Bites at end of day 1 = 19.

My arm is swollon from a bunch of them together and so is one of my ankles. I did feel a little bit more at home when Darko was like ‘IMO! WHAT IS THAT?!’ and I said, ‘I did tell you, I got bitten’. Then Gorana went straight for the mossie cooler cream and cooled down my arm for me. It was such a mum thing to do, I think I may love that woman a little more now.

But one day. I will kill all mossies. 

I hate MOSQUITO’S.

Over here, in Croatia, they have no vit B stuff, so trying to find some more vit B is a pain, which is annoying… this is how my day went yesterday with the mossie:

no extra vit B + a little mossie spray + 8pm at night hanging up posters for 2hours = 8 bites on my legs.

AHH! I hate mosquitos.

THEY ARE USELESS CREATURES. go away. get off my legs. stop itching. 

do you think it would be too dangerous for me to get the mossie spray thats like 97% or something? Or would that stuff just seep through my skin and kill me?!!

Is becoming a lovely place again.

Today we have had amazing weather, clear blue skies with temps of 35 degrees + BEAUTIFUL!

Today we’ve had a really good day, skype with Caroline to sort out when the summer mission people come out witht he kids klubs and everything. Then met up with Garret for ice-cream because he’s back from America, and talking about the 2 american edge girls coming down on friday, then met up with Matej for some more coffee and talks on politics and religion. Mental. So now it”s 20 past 5 and soon we’ll get ready for some dinner, then out to hang some posters about!

WHOS EXCITED?!

I am for sure, so much to do, more people to meet and amazing weather to keep it all going :)

I just hope those ruddy mossies stay away and the river goes down.

So i’ve been ill since yesterday and im really getting annoyed with it already. Like, not only do we have the most amazing weather outside, but this is probably the last quiet week we will have until eveyrthing starts happening. 

So I’m a little ill, i have a headache and a stupidly sore throat which has slowly crept down to the lung area. Like i can feel it the whole way down, so i have come to the conclusion, why the muffin am i drinking so much water? Your wind pipe and your food pipe aren’t attached so trying to sooth my throat isn’t working because the water is going down the wrong tube. i do wish that they were attached, but then i would probably die a little bit.

AH!

So I’ve just finished tidying my room and feel very international with the different types of money that i found:

Crazy times. Now I’ve just got to find a way to spend it so that i don’t have to go to the travel agents when i get back and for them to rip me off.

So after a pretty lazy morning and fullness i suddenly found some sort of urge to sort out all th clothes i have here. 

I’ve sorted them out into winter clothes and summer clothes. I’ve packed the winter stuff so hopefully i won’t have to look at it again until winter arrives in like November or something!

Bugt while sorting out my clothes, i found a bunch i don’t want and a bunch of stuff that i could make more clothes out of! YES!

I’m not really the sewing type, but i could prefer if i could have a proper sewing machine then it would be like 1000x faster than hand sewing it all. One of the things that i’m going to make is a little cardigan thing that dangles at the front, if that makes any sense? So i’m going to make them out of a pair of black leggings and have decided to put something gold on it, but have no idea what. Maybe gold beads? gold sequins? gold thread? if so gold thread, a pattern?! I don’t want something thats going to take forever because i’ll get half way through it and not want to do it any more.

Any suggestions?
