fuuvi bee

There have been a few attempts at making digital versions of the traditional 8mm camera, many of which have quickly fizzled out of fashion, but that hasn’t deterred Fuuvi, who have just launched the Bee. The body of the 8mm digital camera takes inspiration from Super 8s of old, only they’ve shrunk it down so that it can fit neatly in your pocket. Featuring a 1.3 million pixel CMOS lens, the camera captures “retro” videos in 640 x 480 resolution or stills at 1280 x 960. All of this is stored on a microSD, enabling you to shoot a 100-minute-long clip should you wish.
