IPAD 3 RELEASED IN MARCH

Rumours have surfaced regarding the next generation of Apple’s iPad, which Bloomberg are reporting will have a release date of March 2012 after discovering manufacturers of the device want to reach full capacity by February.

The new tablet will supposedly feature a quad-core chip, allowing users to more quickly switch between applications, and will be LTE (long-term evolution) compatible, allowing for faster access to data on a new network being rolled out by Verizon and AT&T. “Apple is bringing LTE to the iPad before the iPhone because the tablet has a bigger battery and can better support the power requirements of the newer technology, said one of the people.”

The new device will hopefully also come with a higher-res screen than the previous version, allowing the “images [to] look like printed material.”
