‘With Christmas close upon us, publishers Penguin have released a collection of nine short digital-only reads, ranging from recipes for the perfect Christmas day from Felicity Cloake to a spooky short story by Helen Dunmore. The festive season isn’t the only reason Penguin have decided to step into the digital world though - they say it also enables you to respond to world events extremely quickly, cutting down your book turn around time and being able to release a book in four to five weeks.

The books are all priced at a reasonable £1.99 - “approximately the same price as a cup of coffee” - and are available across all formats.’
